Key West

Our Key West (KW) design boasts the colorful maritime flags representing the letters K & W. While the design of the flags has not changed since 1913, the phonetic alphabet assignment for the letters has. In 1957, K changed from King to Kilo and W changed from William to Whiskey. We think Kilo Whiskey is clearly a better phonetic assignment for Key West than the earlier King William.
